How Peajee protects your privacy, handles reports, and what to do when something feels urgent.
How anonymity works
- Posts and comments show a random display name (for example, Anonymous Owl #8832), not your legal name or student number.
- Other students cannot see your university email address on your profile or next to your posts.
- Only students with a confirmed university email can post and comment on Peajee.
- Peajee staff may access account details when investigating abuse, legal requests, or imminent harm. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How reporting works
- Use the report option on a post or comment (⋯ or More menu → Report) when content may break Peajee Rules. You can also report a user account from the same menu.
- Choose a reason and optional details when submitting a report. You must be signed in; reports are stored for moderator review.
- Reports are reviewed by moderators. We may remove content, warn accounts, or suspend access depending on severity and history.
- Reporting is confidential: the person you report is not told who filed the report.
- For non-urgent policy questions, email legal@peajee.com. For account help, visit Support.
What to do in emergencies
- If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first (for example, police or campus security).
- If you see threats of violence, self-harm, or sexual exploitation, report in app and email legal@peajee.com with a link to the post if you can.
- Peajee may preserve relevant records and cooperate with lawful requests when safety is at risk.
